MMA fans were treated Saturday to what will most likely go down as one of the best flyweight fights of all time. UFC on Fox 6's main card, Demetrius "Mighty Mouse" Johnson vs John Dodson, more than lived up to its billing as "the fastest fight in UFC history" (for clarification, they were referring to how fast the strikes were not the length of the fight).

Some have called Johnson, the most technically perfect fighter in the world. His lightning-quick striking style of getting in and out his opponent's range before they can counterattack is just about the best there is. And that is why he was probably shocked, more than anyone,  when Dodson matched his speed from start to finish and packed a wallop to boot. In the early rounds of the five round fight Dodson knocked down the champ a total of three times before succumbing to Johnson's superior technique in the later rounds.

This fight was an epic slugfest that looked like it was locked in at fast forward the whole time. The rounds seemed to go on forever due to the constant motion and strikes thrown by the two fighters. We got more action per round in this fight than any other fight on the card had the entire match. These two men are bound to have a rematch at some point, when that happens, I guarantee you will not want to miss it.
