Rapper Kendrick Lamar released a new video online last week that features a dark-skinned "video girl," and it was a deliberate attempt to bring "BALANCE" to a color blind industry, according to an article on necolebitchie.com.

In his latest video "poetic Justice" (below), actress Britney Sky is featured. 

Lamar's passion for diversity deserves an applause because viewers don't get to see beautiful dark-skinned women like Sky.

Celebrities have to keep in mind that individuals from all walks of life take interest in them, and it's great to see representation of everyone -- not just what's hot right now.
