NFL shake up in Cleveland as Browns' CEO, GM leave

By Zach Campbell
On February 12, 2014

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that CEO Joe Banner and GM Michael Lombardi are both leaving the organization after the team finished 4-12 in the regular season.

This is the sixth season in a row where the Browns have finished with at least 11 losses.

Assistant GM Ray Farmer will be promoted to GM and will immediately take control over all football operations.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam released a statement on the Browns' website about the promotion.

The move comes just two weeks after hiring new head coach Mike Pettine and one month before the NFL scouting combine.
