After being discontinued in stores, the controversial toys from Tarantino's "DJango Unchained" have also been banned from eBay, according to a report by TMZ.com.
Producers asked a toy maker (who also made the figures for Inglorious Bastards) to discontinue the collectible figures last week as a result of complaints from advocacy groups including reverend Al Sharpton, who said the toys were offensive to African-Americans because of their depiction of slave characters as toys. However, after the decision, online prices for the figures skyrocketed, selling for more than $400 on Amazon and eBay.
