"Traitor", "Backward" and "Evil" are just some of the words people have used to describe Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney via social media after several polls asked people to describe both candidates in one word.

Twitter has been flooded with the hash tag #describeromneyinoneword followed by words like "Evil", "Backward" and "Irrelevant" used to describe Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. This comes after several polls asked people to describe both candidates in one word following the Democratic and Republican national conventions.

A poll by the Pew Research Center shows different results.According to their national survey of 1,010 adults nationwide, about 42 percent of the respondents were negative toward Romney, leaving 28 percent positive and 30 percent neutral.

While the overall opinion of Romney is negative, according to the poll, the words used to describe him are significantly different. The poll shows the top words used to describe Romney are "Honest", "Rich" "Business/Businessman" and "Good".

The Pew Research Center also conducted the same survey for President Obama with different results. The survey shows that few people are neutral when it comes to describing Obama; they either respond positively or negatively. The survey shows 43 percent with positive and negative responses with 14 percent responding neutral. The top words used to describe Obama are "Good", "Trying" and "President" and "Failed/Failure".
