Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen has withdrawn from her scheduled performance at the annual Boy Scouts of America Jamboree, she announced on Monday.
"Call Me Maybe" star Carly Rae Jepsen won't be attending the largest gathering of Boy Scouts at their annual jamboree because of their anti-LGBT policy, she announced on Tuesday.
As an artist who believes in equality for all people, I will not be participating in the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree this summer...

GLADD and Eagle Scout Derek Nance launched a petition for Jepsen to withdraw from the event and denounce the scouts for their policy banning gays from participating in scouting activities.
The musical group Train was also booked for the Jamboree, but said if the group doesn't end their discriminatory practice, they will withdraw as well.
