The Multicultural Greek Council will host its biannual "MGC Showcase" on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. in the LSC Theater.
This event will provide those students who are in interested a more in depth look into the different aspects of the Multicultural Greek life as well as introduce them to the unique personalities of each chapter of the Multicultural Greek Council.
Jeanine Bias, assistant dean of students, said, "Students are encouraged to utilize this program to ask questions and get acquainted with current members of the organizations."
Representatives from the Delta Xi Nu Sorority, Inc., Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Lambda Sorority, Inc., Sigma Romeo Inc., Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc., and Sigma Kappa Omega Sorority, Inc. will all be present to answer any questions students may have about their organizations.
Students will then have the opportunity to visit with representatives at information booths as well as view powerpoint presentations detailing the goals of their organizations. Chapters will also put on skits and stroll performances for students' entertainment.
There is no cost of admission and students are encouraged to attend to learn more about each chapter.
