It has reached over 75 million views on Youtube in the last month and a half, many within the last two weeks of the video going viral. The music video shows PSY parodying the lavish lifestyle of the filthy rich of the residents of the 15-square mile area of Seoul's Gangnam district. Families such as those who own and run the major conglomerates of Samsung and Hyundai live here.The chorus consists of the often repeated phrase "Oppa Gangnam Style" which to my ears, and according to Google.com many other American ears, sounds like "Open Condom Star." The rest of the chorus includes the phrase of "Eh, Sexy Lady -oh oh oh oh" said in English. How lovely.This catchy song will stay in your head despite being in a foreign language.Now to see if the invisible-horse dance will catch on as explosively.
