"Skyfall" was released on the 50th anniversary of the first Bond movie "Dr. No". The song is Adele's first single since the release of her album "21". Toss in Adele's soulful, throaty vocals, and we have a winning combination a James Bond theme.

In the song, Adele pleas: "Let the Skyfall/ When it crumbles/We will stand tall/Face it all/Together."

The song is haunting, but blends Adele's blues style with the traditional Bond theme. Since its release, the song has topped the charts all over the world. The song is #2 on iTunes charts in the U.S., UK and Cananda while holding the the
number one spot in France, Germany and Italy.
